Dear Friends,

It is an honor to be a State Representative in the great state of New Mexico.

I will continue to work hard to be a strong voice in Santa Fe for my
constituents. While a lot has already been done, there is still a lot of work
to do for our district.

I have passed or sponsored bills during my 1st and 2nd terms that have:

addressed the needs of our veterans and our military members
         (and their families)
created hundreds of jobs through economic development initiative
broadened health care delivery in rural areas
strongly supported both secondary and post-secondary education
addressed the seriousness of domestic violence as well as other acts
         of violence
provided funding for streets, roads, flood control, community/senior
centers, law enforcement, parks, and hiking/biking trails
encouraged increased access to our state parks, monuments, and
         museums
promoted alternative fuels for transportation and the use of alternative
         energy
advocated for the humane treatment of animals
supported new and extended behavioral health programs
highlighted the problems associated with government waste and
         unnecessary spending
provided overseas civilians the right to vote for local candidates
allowed for New Mexicans working overseas to vote electronically
initiated a study to prepare for the growth of WSMR

During my second term I have continued to be a strong voice for all New Mexico families and I will continue fighting for an improved quality of life in District 53 and in all of New Mexico.
